In early 2018 myself my husband and 2 children aged 15 and 9 decided we decided it was time to take our family on our first family holiday abroad after many discussions i popped onto the Tui website and booked a 7 day all inclusive holiday to Lanzarote in May 2019 a year of saving and buying summer holiday clothes and essentials came and went and the excitement was building. At 10 am on the morning of 23rd of may our transport to the airport arrived packing our luggage in the boot and climbing into the car making sure we had all the paper work and passports we set off for Glasgow airport. shortly before 12 we arrived we checked our bags in and went through security with ease. We headed to Burger king for a quick bite to eat and wait until our gate is called then we had a long walk to our gate to board the plane. once board and taken our seats my son at the window seat my daughter in the middle and myself on the isle on the right and my husband on the isle on the left. then it was time to take off i was sat apprehensive as this was my children’s and husbands first time flying and it was time to see how they were going within seconds my daughter was asking to get off. (OOPS to late) but once up in the air she was fine and loved the landing. We landed at Arrecife airport collected our luggage and climbed aboard our transfer bus to the Los Zocos club resort we checked in and arrived at our accommodation for the holiday it was two bedroom apartment with kitchen and balcony. it was clean and well presented and a perfect place for the duration of our stay. as an all inclusive resort, buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Unlimited snacks and drinks where available throughout the day. For 7 days we enjoyed lounging around the pool, swimming and attending the evening entertainment which was perfect for children. We enjoyed a couple of short walks down to the beach, had a play in the sand and paddle in the sea. We had planned a excursion to the Timanfaya National Park we booked this through our holiday rep at the resort. Before we knew it, it was time to travel home, time to board our transfer bus and travel back to the airport, check our bags in go through security popped to burger king had a short walk to our gate and boarded our flight, then it was time for take off.
